Biography

Deema obtained her bachelor's degree in biochemistry in 2019, she had an internship at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center in the sequencing department. Later, she worked as a research technician at King Abdullah International Medical Research Center in the developmental medicine department where she was leading a DNA extraction team. The team worked on multiple Saudi Genome projects including a covid 19 project where they studied the genetical effect on the severity of covid in the Saudi Arabian population.
